Introduction
Matrix Pointe Software ("Matrix," "We," "Us," "Our," or "Company") respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice ("Notice") describes how Matrix collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with the Service, and describes privacy rights that may be available to you under applicable law.
This Notice does not apply to the use of Matrix software products or services governed by a Software License Agreement. If you access Matrix software through an agreement between Matrix and a government agency or organization, the privacy practices applicable to that use are governed by the terms of that agreement. For questions about how your personal information is handled in that context, please refer to the applicable Software License Agreement or contact the organization that provided you access to the software.
Matrix remains subject to applicable law in all circumstances. Applicable law may differ by state, including with respect to how Matrix processes personal information on behalf of others.
Scope
For purposes of this Notice, "Service" refers to any interaction between you and Matrix that is not governed by a Software License Agreement, including your use of Matrix's public website at matrixpointesoftware.com and any direct communications with Matrix. Other agreements, applicable laws, or more specific privacy notices may govern how your personal information is handled in certain contexts. Where they apply, those terms control.
Personal Information We Collect
The personal information Matrix collects depends on how you interact with the Service. The categories below describe information Matrix may collect.
Identifiers and Contact Information
This may include your name, email address, telephone number, account identifier, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device identifiers, username, and other information used to identify or contact you.
Account and Authentication Information
This may include account credentials, authentication information, account settings, permissions, and information used to establish, secure, and manage your account.

When you use the Service, Matrix may receive content, records, files, communications, and other information submitted through the Service.
Device, Technical, and Usage Information
When you access the Service, Matrix may automatically collect technical and usage information, including IP address, browser type and language, device type and identifiers, operating system and version, timestamps, referring and exit pages or URLs, pages and features accessed, activity within the Service, diagnostic information, and similar information about your interaction with the Service.
Support Information
If you contact Matrix for support, Matrix may collect your contact information, communications with support personnel, diagnostic information, and information necessary to investigate and resolve the issue.
Sensitive Personal Information
If Matrix processes information that is considered sensitive under applicable law, Matrix does so only to the extent necessary to deliver the Service, and only as permitted by contract, subject to applicable law, for the purposes for which the information was provided.

Matrix uses personal information for purposes reasonably necessary and proportionate to operate its business and provide the Service, including to:

How We Disclose Personal Information
Matrix may disclose personal information as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice. Depending on the circumstances, recipients may include:
Cloud hosting, infrastructure, security, communications, analytics, support, and other service providers that support Matrix operations
Matrix affiliates, contractors, and personnel with a legitimate business need to access the information
Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and other parties supporting legal, compliance, financial, or business functions
Government agencies, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law
A successor or other party involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements
Other parties at your direction, with your consent, or as otherwise disclosed when information is collected
Matrix limits access to personal information to individuals and organizations that require access for an authorized purpose and applies contractual, technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards as appropriate.
Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
Matrix does not sell or rent personal information for monetary consideration.
Matrix’s use of cookies, analytics, advertising technologies, or other third-party technologies, if any, may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under certain state privacy laws even when no money is exchanged. Where Matrix engages in activity that creates an applicable opt-out right, Matrix will provide the required notice and method to exercise that right.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Matrix may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Service, remember preferences, understand use of the Service, diagnose performance issues, and support analytics. Available choices depend on the technologies in use and applicable law. Where consent or an opt-out mechanism is legally required, Matrix will provide the applicable choice.
Providing User Support
When you authorize a Matrix support representative to access your device or the Service for troubleshooting, the representative may be able to view or access information necessary to investigate the issue. Matrix limits such access to the support-related purpose and applies its security and access-control requirements to support activities.

Matrix may disclose personal information when required by law, legal process, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request. Security Procedures
Matrix maintains administrative, technical, physical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These safeguards include measures intended to restrict access to personnel and other individuals with a legitimate business need and to protect information during transmission and storage.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, Matrix cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
Matrix retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, including to provide the Service, maintain business and security records, comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and audit obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Retention periods may vary based on the category and sensitivity of the information, the nature of the Service, customer instructions and contracts, legal requirements, security needs, and other legitimate business requirements. Information may remain in backups or other protected systems for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
Where We Store and Process Information
Matrix stores and processes information used to provide the Service within the United States of America (“USA”). Information may also be stored locally on devices used to access the Service.
If you access the Service from outside the USA, your information may be transferred to and processed in the USA. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, Matrix will use appropriate mechanisms.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights concerning personal information Matrix controls:

These rights are subject to exceptions and limitations under applicable law. Matrix may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Sensitive Personal Information
Matrix does not use sensitive personal information for purposes inconsistent with the reason it was collected unless permitted by applicable law or valid consent. Where applicable law requires consent before processing sensitive personal information or provides a right to limit its use or disclosure, Matrix will provide or support the required mechanism.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for adult professionals and is not directed to persons under the age of 18. Matrix does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe Matrix has inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16, please contact us using the information provided in the Contact section of this Notice.
State-Specific Privacy Disclosures
California
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), applies to Matrix’s processing of your personal information, California residents may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive equal treatment for exercising CCPA rights. Matrix will provide notices and privacy choices required by the CCPA based on Matrix’s actual processing activities.
Matrix does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. If Matrix engages in activity that constitutes a sale or sharing under the CCPA, Matrix will provide the applicable opt-out method and honor applicable opt-out preference signals.
Other U.S. States
Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws may have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, and rights to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Some states also provide a right to appeal a denied request. Matrix will honor applicable rights based on the law that applies to the individual and the processing activity.
Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
If Matrix uses personal information in automated decision-making or profiling in a manner that creates consumer rights under applicable law, Matrix will provide the disclosures, assessments, access, and opt-out mechanisms required by that law.
No Unlawful Discrimination
Matrix will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising privacy rights available under applicable law.
Updates and Changes
Matrix may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in its services, processing activities, legal requirements, or business practices. When required by law, Matrix will provide notice of material changes before they become effective. The “Last Updated” date below identifies the most recent revision.
